Tommy Abell, 69, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, after a lengthy battle with FTD.
Son of the late Elwyn and Mary Abell, Tommy was retired as parts manager at Five Star Macon. He was the former owner of Riverside Auto Parts and Riverside Exxon. He loved spending time his family and their animals.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kay M. Abell of Macon; son, Paul Abell (Jeannie) of Kathleen, Georgia; granddaughter, Willow Abell of Macon; sister, Pat Abell Wright (Bill) of Salem, Virginia; brother-in-law, John F. Martin, Jr. (Anita) of Forsyth, Georgia; nieces, Melanie Wright Enoch (Matt), Robin Wright Mullins (Buddy), Melissa Martin Woodford (Ron), and Jennifer Martin Kilpatrick (Mitch); and nephew, John F. Martin, III.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Hart’s Chapel of the Cupola, with the Reverend Len Woodard officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service.
