Timothy "Tim" Meyer

Timothy Meyer, 57, of Macon passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 3, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Hart’s at Jones County Chapel. Family will greet friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Macon Memorial Park.

Tim is survived by his mother, Jackie Meyer; his wife of 11 years Debbie Meyer;  daughter, Jessica Meyer, son, Justin Meyer ( Whitney); stepchildren, Blair Sapp, Merlin Sapp (Emmylou); grandchildren, Kinley King, Braxton Sapp, Madden Sapp, Emberly Abarca; sister, Sheryl Meyer, brother, Patrick Meyer; nieces and nephews, Sarah Sells, Ashley Meyer, Dylan Meyer, Jonathan Meyer and Sophia Meyer. He is predeceased in death by his dad, Larry Meyer and his sister, Brenda Meyer.

He served his country in the US Navy with pride. Tim had a huge heart and was there for anybody in need; he loved helping others. He was a non-judgmental person who always saw the good in people. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes, he loved nature, cooking, socializing, eating and drinking a beer with friends, but his passion was construction. He could build anything that he set his mind to.
