Thomas Pearman, Sr., 83, of Forsyth passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020. Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Macon Memorial Park with Reverend Robby Kerr officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heartland Hospice of Macon, 200 Northside Crossing, Macon, GA 31210. His body will lie in state from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola.
Thomas was born November 5, 1936, to the late Marvin and Mayoma Pearman. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Ann Pearman of Monroe County; three children, Tommy Pearman, Jr. (Marla) of Hazard, Kentucky, Robert Pearman (Terri) of Macon, Georgia, Walter Pearman (Renee) of Bolingbroke, Georgia; two grandchildren, Heather Barefoot (Michael) of Macon, Georgia, Celena Pearman of Macon, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Morris of Macon, Georgia, Michael Barefoot, Jr., of Macon, Georgia, and Amelia Barefoot of Macon, Georgia; one brother, Grady Pearman of Chula, Georgia, one sister, Gloria Sinclair of Freeport, Florida; and his faithful canine companion, Jackie.
Thomas graduated from Tift County High School, where he was active in the Future Farmers of America, and he attended ABAC. Thomas served eleven years in the Georgia National Guard. He was the owner of Ford’s Equipment Company. Thomas loved fishing, tending to his flower and vegetable gardens, and working on his tractors.
Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend; he will be missed by all who knew him.
Masks are mandatory for all who attend the graveside service.
