Terry Lee Drew, 67, of Forsyth, GA, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023. Born on March 7, 1956, in Daytona Beach, Florida, Terry was a man of many talents, who lived a life filled with love, laughter, and creativity.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Lisa Drew of Forsyth. Their love story was one of enduring partnership and mutual respect. Together, they raised a beautiful family, which included their children, Elaine Ouellet (Richard Conkle) of Forsyth, Jason Ouellet (Yvette) of Covington, Georgia, Kendall Drew (Brandi) of Juliette, Georgia, and Kerry Drew (Courtney) of Forsyth. Terry was a devoted father and grandfather, always ready with a joke or a helping hand. His grandchildren, Ava Drew, Alyssa Drew, Brianna Lawson, Kerry Drew, Jr., Dakota Drew, Liam Conkle, Brian Drew, Kameron Drew, and Macy Drew, will remember him for his warmth, his humor, and his love of life.
Terry was the cherished son of Jackie Sue Bumgarner Drew of Stone Mountain, Georgia, and was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Arnold Drew, Sr. He is also survived by his siblings, Kenny Drew of Livingston, Texas, Sheila Rutledge (Wayne) of Monroe, Georgia, and Phillip Drew, Jr. (Cindy) of Stone Mountain. Terry's family was a source of great joy and pride for him, and he cherished the time they spent together.
A talented carpenter, Terry loved woodworking and working with his hands. His creativity was evident in every piece he crafted, each one a testament to his skill and dedication. His love of cars, especially the thrill of Friday night drag races, was a passion he enjoyed sharing with friends and family. Terry was also a wonderful cake decorator and enjoyed cooking. His culinary creations were always a hit at family gatherings, and his cakes were works of art.
Those who knew Terry will remember him for his wicked sense of humor. He had a knack for making people laugh, and his quick wit was a source of joy for those around him.
