Tanya Hill Causey

Macon- Tanya Hill Causey, 49, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at her residence following a long battle with breast cancer. A celebration of life will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 1:30PM. The Reverend Jimmy Towson and Apostle Edward Futch will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at noon prior the celebration. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forest Hills United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 1217 Forest Hill Road, Macon, Georgia 31210 or Deliverance Center Outreach Ministries, 510 Woodard Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204. Tanya loved being a nurse at the Women's Center at the Coliseum Medical Center which she called her second home and family. Tanya is survived by her husband, Chris Causey; sons, Blake Christian Causey of Atlanta and Levin Dyer Causey of Kennesaw State University; mother and father, Robert and Barbara Hill; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hines and Bettie Causey; mother-in-law, Kitty Walker; brothers, Robbie (Karen) Hill and Lance (Cindy) Hill; brothers-in-law, Vann Causey, Scott (Wendy) Causey; sister-in-law, Jennifer Peterson; many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
