Shirley Ann Dixon

Shirley Ann Dixon, 63, of Macon, Georgia, passed away August 30, 2021.  The family will greet friends Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, at Hart’s Mortuary, located at 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia.  The family invites all to a Celebration of Life Reception following the visitation at the residence of Shannon Kersey.   

Shirley loved life.  She enjoyed camping, shooting pool and was an avid reader.  She also enjoyed loving on her precious fur babies: Elsie, Missy, and Pearl.  She is known for her love of all these things; but the greatest thing she is known for, is the love she gave to all of her grandchildren.   

She is survived by her husband, Newell Edward Dixon Sr. of Macon; seven children, Michelle (Michael) Clark and Danielle (Matthew) Aaron of Kathleen, Daniel (Crystal) Chiles of Warner Robins, Newell Edward (Lee) Dixon Jr. of Perry, Shannon Kersey (David) and Mandy Dixon of Gray, and Monica (Harry) Millis of Macon; twenty grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sherry (Randy) Wohner.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Jackson and Evelyn Peacock and her sister, Susan Ussery.
