Randall Cope, 61, of Macon, Georgia, husband of Jackie Cope, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Mr. Cope was born in Eagle Rock, California, to Chuck and Pat Cope of Harlem, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck Cope. Survivors whose hearts are broken include his wife, Jackie Cope, of Macon, Georgia; his son, Ian Cope (Natalie), of El Paso, Texas; his mother, Pat Cope, Harlem, Georgia; his sister, Linda Cope Smart (Mike); and his nephew, Brandon Jordan. He will also be deeply missed by family including Bart Hall (Juliana) of Denver, Colorado; Barron Hall (Katie) of Gray, Georgia; and Shelby Hall (Ryan) of Opelika, Alabama. His dear grandchildren will miss the time and love he shared with them as they were so dear to his heart, and they adored their "Opa". Randall's friends who shared memories, music, art, banter on social media, and good times are also among those who are going to miss him most.
Randall was a brilliant and talented contemporary Professional Artist. He attended Savannah College of Art and Design, where he graduated Summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration, in 1988. His work has been exhibited at The Smithsonian, The Agora Gallery, The District of Columbia Gallery, The Winston-Salem Art Association, as well as in numerous national competitions. Randall's loves in life were his family and close friends, art, mid-century modern furniture (especially chairs), books, music, inspiring conversations, cooking, talk radio, and living life to its fullest.
