Peggy was born in Eastman, Georgia, to the late John Thomas Rozier, and Nell Garrett Rozier. She loved God and attended Bridges of Hope and Restoration Church. She enjoyed going to craft festivals and planting flowers in the yard. More than anything, she loved “being with Fred.” Anything Fred wanted to do, Peggy would do. Together they loved to sit on the porch watching deer, going to equipment auctions, hunting, fishing, and feeding people. They also had a great love for horses. In their younger years, they managed Duckworth Pastures together.
