Patti May Fuchs

Patti May Fuchs, 87, of Macon, Georgia passed peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

Patti, the daughter of the late E.L., Jr. and Neva May, was born on June 19, 1936 in LaGrange, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gordon Fuchs, and her brother, E.L. “Sonny” May, III.  She is survived by daughters, Leslie Fuchs, Suzanne (Brooks) Davis, and Ginny Davis; grandchildren, Meredith Fuchs and Maggie Fuchs.

A graduate of Georgia State College for Women, Patti received her degree in education in 1957.  Her time in the classroom spanned over 50 years, and she cherished her students as though they were her own.

Patti was a long-time member of Vineville Baptist Church.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed many musical and theater performances throughout her life.  In her latter years, her grandchildren were the light of her life.

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Hart’s at the Cupola.
