Mrs. Mozell “Zell” Bolden Stephen, age 81, previously of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 28, 2020 in hospice care in Pensacola, Florida. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with Dr. Josh Bizzell and the Reverend Ronnie Culpepper officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in the Social Hall.
Born in Byron, Georgia, to the late Mozell Arnold Bolden and P.L. Bolden, Zell married Thomas Houser Stephen, the love of her life, June 30, 1962. Zell worked as a dental hygienist in Macon, Georgia until she retired to conquer breast cancer. She was also very active in volunteering at FUMC Warner Robins until her dementia slowed her down. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 blissful years.
Zell is survived by her only child, Elizabeth Stephen Samojedny (Scott); two grandchildren, Dylan (19) and Lindsay (16); four brothers, John Paul Bolden, Donald Lester Bolden (Nita), Paul Lester Bolden, and Charles Randall Bolden (Kathy).
