Mildred Reid Johnson

Mildred Reid Johnson, 92, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Hart’s on Cherry Street.

Mildred was born on April 10, 1930, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to the late Frank Pierce Reid and Lena Bottoms Reid. At a young age, she moved with her family to Athens, Georgia.  She retired from Robins Air Force Base, after working as a Military Pay supervisor for several years.

Mildred loved spending time with her friends and family.  She enjoyed shopping and getting her hair and nails done with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.  

“She will be in our hearts forever and will dance with Jesus until we meet again.”

Mildred was preceded in death by her sons, Steven Earl Clark, and Richard Franklin Clark.

She is survived by her son, Michael Clark, of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren: Kattie Williams, of Marietta, Georgia, Michelle Clark, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Jesse Clark, of Marietta, Georgia, and Richie Cox, of Ohio; and seven great-grandchildren.
