“Mike” Harold Grady Caldwell

“Mike” Harold Grady Caldwell, 90, of Macon, Georgia and Fernandina Beach, Florida, died peacefully Wednesday, May 19, 2021, surrounded by family.

Son of the late C. F. and Cenie Shephard Caldwell, Mr. Caldwell was a graduate of Mercer University and Korean War veteran.  He married Sally Anderson in 1961. He was the owner of Mike Caldwell Realty and International Realty Sales and Exchange.  He formed the Georgia Real Estate and Exchangors Association and was a member of Florida Real Estate Exchangors, Middle Georgia Home Builder’s Association, and Big Brothers Association.  He was also a Certified Commercial Investor Member, a Mason and a member of Vineville United Methodist Church. Mr. Caldwell loved God, his family, and his country.  He never met a stranger. Mr Caldwell was predeceased by six siblings, Joe Caldwell, Voncille Caldwell, Sister Ciaramello, Willene Viglione, Don Caldwell, and Jack Caldwell; and son-in law, Shay Sellers.

Mr. Caldwell is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sally Anderson Caldwell; children, Michael Caldwell (Leslie), Clara Pittman (Lawrence), and Allison Sellers Church (Brad); grandchildren, Hugh Caldwell, Troy Caldwell, Lindsey Pittman, Cindy Pittman, Sally Sellers, Carson Sellers, and James Barry “J.B.” Sellers, III; sister, Betty Harrison; sister-in-law, Juliette Yearty (Tom); and nieces and nephews, Lisa Langdon (Tom), Bill Yearty (Bonnie), Andy Yearty (Jaycee), Terry Harrison, Speedy Cramer (Kathy), Gayle Mutchnik (Jack), Vic Caldwell (Nicole), Karen Fraase, and Pam Charbeneau.
