Michael A. Rusgrove

Michael A. Rusgrove, 43, of Macon, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Hart’s at the Cupola.

Michael was a devoted father and husband.  He spent his career helping children and teenagers in finding their path in life.  He was a great listener and was always able to give great words of wisdom and direction.  He will be missed not only by his family and friends, but by those he has helped in years past.

Michael is survived by his wife of twelve years, Emily Rusgrove; daughter, Caroline Rusgrove; son, Asa Rusgrove; father, Lewis Rusgrove (Lorrie); brother, Lance Rusgrove (Sara); sister, Lydia Moss (Stephen); father-in-law, Maurice Hardwick; mother-in-law, Mary Harbin (Steve); brother-in-law, James Hardwick (Allison); sister-in-law, Susan Hardwick; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Deanna Kelley; grandfather, James Kelley; grandmother, Dewayne Kelley; grandfather, Lloyd Rusgrove, and grandmother, Doris Rusgrove.
