Mary Helen Collins, 93, passed quietly away May 25, 2020. Burial will be private.
Mary Helen was born June 11, 1926 in Everett, Massachusetts. She loved to square dance and clog. As a career Navy wife, she was an expert in knitting, crocheting, and was a designer and maker of fine quilts and afghans. She was predeceased by her husband, Adolph D Collins in 2000, her parents, Henry and Emily Cavicchi, her sister, Dorothy Cavicchi, and her brother, Wilbur Cavicchi.
Mary Helen is survived by her sisters, Eileen Masse of Bradenton, Florida, Yvonne Skinner of Portland, Oregon; sons, Brian L. Young (Laurel) of Hudson, Massachusetts and Shawn D. Collins (Mary) of Forsyth, Georgia; daughters, Georgia L. Andrews of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jane A. Whitehead (William) of Gray, Georgia; and numerous cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will all greatly miss her.
