Marjorie Ann Epps, 94, of Macon, died Friday, January 1, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Macon Memorial Park with the Reverend Joe McDaniel officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. Please wear masks and practice social distancing. Mrs. Epps was a librarian at the Rocky Creek Library for 25 years. She was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. She was an amazing mother to her five boys and never met anyone who didn’t become her friend. Her favorite past times were reading and loving on her two dogs. She will be missed by her family and everyone who knew her. Born in Macon, she was the daughter of Wallace and Lalar Norred. Mrs. Epps was predeceased by her husband, W. I. Epps; and two sons, James P. Epps and Billy D. Epps.
Mrs. Epps is survived by three sons, John Epps (Sheila) of Macon, Ricky W. Epps (Julie) of Bonaire, and Bobby C. Epps of Lizella; eight grandchildren, Debra Russell (Mike), Jamie Epps (Teresa), Katie Epps, April Cook (Chad), Crystal Garrison (Travis), Chandler Epps, Cameron Epps, and Cecilia Johnson; 11 great-grandchildren; and her caregiver, Norma Fothergill.
