Marjorie Clifford Haskin Miller, 87, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. Memorial services will be held graveside at Haddock Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2:00pm, with Dr. Ron McClung officiating.
Born in Dekalb County, Georgia she traveled with her Father’s work until settling in Jones County where she spent most of her life. Daughter of the late Ernest and Edith Haskin, she was a long-time devoted member of Haddock Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for the Children’s Department. Beyond her faith, she treasured her friends and family and loved painting, gardening, and her precious pets.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Clifford Miller (Darlene) of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Steven Anthony Miller (Wanda) of Orange Grove, Texas; one daughter, Donna Miller Kist (Ross) of Tallahassee, Florida; eight grandchildren: Steven Russell Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada, William Terrell Miller of Harlem, Georgia, Miranda Beckum of Las Vegas, Nevada, Matthew Miller of San Antonio, Texas, Heather Miller of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Karla Miller of Sevierville, Tennessee, Amber Clement of Tallahassee, Florida, and Jason Heath of Sedona, Arizona; great grandchild, Sara Adalyn Miller of Harlem, Georgia; brother, Ernest William Haskin, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Hugh Donald Miller.
