Margaret Judy Wilson

Margaret Judy Wilson, 68, of Macon, GA, passed away at home Friday, May 12, 2023.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Gray with the Reverend Randy Darnell officiating.

Daughter of the late Jack Pierce and Mattie Mae Hinson Cox, Judy was loved by everyone.  She always saw the best in others.  Her kindness, generosity, and open heart were all examples of true Christianity.  Judy’s smile could light up a room and her laughter was infectious.

Judy and Bubba were best friends, lovers, and teammates. Together, they faced all challenges.  She adored her dogs and thought nothing was more beautiful than a sunrise.  She turned her backyard into a haven for birds with over twelve bird feeders.  Birdwatching in her yard was a delight.

Judy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Carl "Bubba" Wilson, Jr. of Macon; son, Tory Wilson of Westmoreland, Tennessee; twin brother, Jack T. Cox of Concord, North Carolina; sisters, Penny Remmert of Marietta, Georgia and Connie Lineberry of Greensboro, North Carolina; father-in-law, Carl M. Wilson of Lizella, Georgia; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jane and Grady Adams of Byron, Georgia
