Mackensie Dawn Nickles

Mackensie Dawn Nickles, 24, of Jones County, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023.  The celebration of her life will be private.  

Mackensie will be dearly missed by her friends, family, and church family at Greenwood Baptist Church.  She was very artistic and enjoyed painting and spending time with her fiancé, Dustin.  She will be remembered for her deep love for animals, especially her six dogs.   

Mackensie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Russell and Alice Patricia Theriault.  She is survived by her fiancé, Dustin Williams of Jones County; mother, Dawn Nickles of Jones County; father, Greg Nickles (Barbara Jo) of Twiggs County; brothers, Lane Adams (Taylor), and Thomas Nickles (Alana), both of Jones County; grandparents, Johnny Mack and Pat Nickles, of Jones County, and Gary and Melinda Simmons, of Marietta, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Rylee Adams, Memphis Adams, and Avery Nickles; and many more members of her extended family.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jones County Animal Shelter, 1015 Monticello Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032.
