Kathryn Maddox O'Steen

Ms. Kathryn Maddox O’Steen, 63, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023.  Memorial services will be private, with inurnment at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Ms. O’Steen’s artistic nature showed in her enjoyment of coloring and her interest and study of crystals.  She loved music, her pets, and relaxing in front of the television. As a caring homemaker, Ms. O’Steen loved her family most of all.

Ms. O’Steen is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, David O’Steen, Sr.; her daughter, Carolyn O’Steen; and her father and mother, William Maddox and Doris Scarborough.

She is survived by her son, Jason O’Steen (Machaela), of Macon; daughter, Sarah O’Steen; grandchildren, Annabella, Caitlyn, Abigail, Izzie, Dakota, Chloe, Logan, and Declan; great-grandchild, Everleigh; boyfriend, Ronnie Taylor, of Macon; sisters, Lisa Maddox, of Macon and Dawn Scarborough, of Macon; and brothers, Douglas Maddox and Jeffery Maddox, of Macon.

Hart’s Mortuary at the Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, Georgia, has charge of the arrangements.
