Joyclyn Folds Fox, 58, of Gray, GA, peacefully passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022. The family will greet friends Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hart’s Mortuary of Jones County. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, with Pastor Tracie Hipps officiating. Burial will be at Highview Cemetery.
Joyclyn was the daughter of the late, Fletcher Kendall Folds, Jr. and Joyce Namie Folds. Joyclyn was a majorette and a 1981 graduate of Jones County High School. She was a medical bookkeeper for Dr. George Johnston Sr. for over 20 years. She loved sports, especially the Atlanta Hawks. She also loved to shop, spend time with her son and family, and enjoyed giving back to her community.
In addition to her parents, Joyclyn was preceded in death by her brother, Aaron Folds, sister, Elaine Folds Ward, and cousin, George Jackson, Jr.
Joyclyn is survived by her son, Jordan Kirksey (Ross Chaplin); siblings, Sherrie Phillips (Leon), Mary Jo Avery, Richard Long (Carol), Robert Long (Patty), and Kendall Folds (Pat); beloved first cousin, Estelle Hammock (Lee); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, and her beloved cat Daisy.
