Joseph Tyler Savage

Mr. Joseph Savage, 46, of Macon, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023.  There will be no public memorial services.

A life-long resident of East Macon, Joseph attended Mattie Wells Elementary School and Jones County High School.  In his early years he played baseball with the Ocmulgee Little League and always enjoyed skateboarding and riding his motorcycle.  Smart and funny, Joseph had a knack for fixing all kinds of things.  He was an animal lover, but his dog Jasmine held a special place in his heart.  Joseph will be remembered by many for the kindness and care he showed his elderly neighbors. Most of all, his family will cherish the memories of his faith in God and his love for his family.  

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Savage.  He is survived by his father, Ronny Kitchens (Martha), of Macon; sister, Bonny Howe (Craig), of Brunswick, Georgia; brother, Andy Kitchens (Brooke), of Tennille, Georgia; nephew, Tyler Russell; nieces, Gabby Kitchens and Savannah Savage-Johnson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 has charge of arrangements.
