Jerry Spillers, 73, of Macon passed away March 28, 2021.
Jerry was born September 2, 1947 to the late Herbert R. Spillers and Elizabeth Griffin. He is survived by his long-time friend, partner, and companion, James Bush of Macon. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved cousin, Diane Griffin Rogers.
Jerry obtained his degree in Interior Design from LaSalle University in Chicago. He was self-employed in his field for forty years. He loved traveling to St Simons and Amelia Island, strolling along the beaches and enjoying the fresh seafood. His interested included architecture, classic cars, gardening, working at his furniture store nest, and going out to eat. Jerry was a comedian and made everyone laugh. Jerry was everyone’s friend.

April 3, 2021 10:30 PMI really enjoyed knowing Jerry in the Vineville Neighborhood where we both lived. I often passed his beautiful yard when I was out walking. It was charming and inviting just as Jerry was. I will miss him.
