Jarrod Jernigan, 37, of Macon, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

Jarrod is survived by his mother, Becky Angelo and step father, Buddy Pope of Macon; brother, Daniel Angelo, III (Jenna Bennett) of Macon; niece, Adelynn Angelo of Macon; step brothers Daniel and Mitchell Pope of Macon; aunt, Debbie Nicoson (Harvey Watkins) of Macon; cousins Christy Smith Johnson of Columbus, Brittany Smith of Smarr, Ashley Johnson of Savannah and CJ Johnson of Columbus.

Jarrod was born in Savannah but raised in Macon and Byron. He held a variety of jobs during his life, but always seemed to enjoy working with his hands. Soft spoken and humble, he was always willing to lend a hand.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks friends to perform a random act of kindness for a stranger in Jarrod’s memory.
