Frank Kenneth Avery, 82, of Macon, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020. The family will greet friends Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m at Hart’s Mortuary on Cherry Street. Private burial will be held at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Glenwood, Georgia.
Son of the late Robert M. and Katie Mae Peavy Avery, Mr. Avery worked as a doffer for Bibb Manufacturing for 30 years. After Bibb Manufacturing closed, he worked for 10 years at the Coliseum Medical Center. He loved golfing and hunting. In addition to his parents, Mr. Avery was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Manning Avery.
Mr. Avery is survived by his daughter, Angelene A. Brown of Macon; grandchild, Matthew Hunter Brown of Macon; great grandchild, Hudson Ross Brown of Cumming, Georgia; brother, Richard Hulie Avery (Shirley) of Macon; niece, Bobbie Jean Gonzalez (Roberto) of Macon and Amanda Avery of Macon; nephew, Clifford M. Avery (Jennifer) of Byron, Georgia; great nieces and great nephew, Ashley D. Champion, Brianna Cowart (Kyle), Cory J. Avery, and Robert M. Avery,
