Faye Leslie King

Faye Leslie King went to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 2, 2021.  The Celebration of her Life will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 11:00AM at Elam Baptist Church, 203 Elam Church Road, Gray, GA 31032 with the Reverend Andy King officiating. A graveside service will follow at Elam Memorial Gardens.

Faye was born in Twiggs County, GA on January 18, 1944, to the late Bob Leslie and Frances Leslie Sutton. She was retired from State Bank in Gray as Head Teller.  She was an active member of Elam Baptist Church and on the board of Elam Memorial Gardens.  She and her husband, Buddy enjoyed camping, traveling, and fishing.  She was devoted to her entire family and had a huge servant’s heart to minister to others through her cooking, cards, phone calls and visits.  Her life was a true example of being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Faye is survived by her husband of 59 years Robert “Buddy” King, son Andy King (Patti), daughter, Sandy Albrycht (John); grandchildren, Rebekah Edwards, Nick Edwards, Leslie Clifford (Tyler), Brittany Grier (James), Josiah King (Summer), Grace Jackson (Gavin), Nolan Albrycht and Charlie Albrycht; great-grandchildren, Lynzi, Gunner, Sophia, Micah, Deacon, Carleigh, Lincoln and Ezra; and brother, Carl Leslie (Nancy).

She was preceded in death by brothers, James Leslie and Henry Leslie; her son Randy King; and grandson, Vincent Albrycht.
