Elizabeth Ann Marshall Green

Elizabeth Ann Marshall Green, 86, of Crawford County, Georgia, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023. The family will greet friends Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 1:00PM at Roberta Methodist Church, with the Reverend Leanette Roberson and the Reverend Bobby Hamlin officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon.

Mrs. Green was an honor graduate of A.L. Miller High School and was a master 4-H’er.

Mrs. Green is preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Green; parents, Monroe and Ora Marshall; brother, Monroe Alvin Marshall; and grandchild, Kinsey Green. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Thomas “Tom” M. Green (Virginia), of Fort Valley; daughter, Teresa Green, of Roberta; son, James E. Green (Cathy), of Chattanooga, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Bright B. Carter, Emily B. Bourne, Ja Prue, Chet Prue, Madison Green, James Thomas Green, and Benjamin Green; seven great-grandchildren, Anderson Carter, Merritt Carter, Grayson Carter, Jacob Prue, Payton Prue, Ali Prue, and Bentley Prue; sisters, Elaine Morgan and Joyce Mosely.
