Eleanor C. Pope

Eleanor C. Pope, 92, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 3:00PM at Riverside Cemetery with the Reverend Scott Dickison officiating. Miss Pope was predeceased by her parents, Marvin and Jewel Pope, and two brothers, Bill and Howard Pope. She was born in Wheeler County but had been a resident of Macon most of her life. Miss Pope graduated from A. L. Miller High School and retired from A. C. Gledhill Realty Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Christ. Miss Pope will be greatly missed by her two loving sisters, Annette Smith and Martha Hunnicutt, and many close nieces and nephews who were the joy of her life - Bobby Pope (Genelle), Billy Pope (Valerie), John Pope (Dominque), Ken Hunnicutt (Cherie), Mike Hunnicutt (Kim), Sally Pohler (Mike), Jeanne Dillard (Larry) and Laurie Roberts (J.C.) - and eleven great and nine great-great-nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Christ, 511 High Place, Macon, Georgia 31201. The family may be contacted at the residence.
