Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Arnett Mitchell passed away on May 17, 2023. Cindy grew up in the Bellevue neighborhood and graduated from Central High School in 1976. She also graduated from Mercer University with a degree in accounting. She is predeceased by her father, James Cecil Arnett; mother, Anna Faye Arnett; brother, James Michael Arnett; and her niece, Joanna Kaye Smith. She is survived by her only son whom she adored, Daniel Andrew “Drew” Brownlee, and his wife, Dana Brownlee. Cindy was blessed to have four grandchildren, Taylor Pelton, Landon Pelton, Mitchell Brownlee, and Emma Brownlee. She is also survived by her sisters, Victoria Lynn Arnett and Donna Arnett Griffin; and brother Charles “Chuck” Hill Arnett. Cindy has several nieces and nephews: Matthew Griffin, Maegan Mullis, Leah Smith, Cameron Arnett, and Christian Arnett.
Cindy worked at Texprint Inc. and IKON for many years. Cindy loved spending time with her family and working in her yard. Cindy was known for her sweet voice and her kind disposition. She truly enjoyed helping others. She received her most joy by spending time with all of her extended family. Being the oldest of five children she certainly did her part to help raise her siblings in a strong loving environment. Cindy was recognized by family and friends as one of the sweetest persons that they have ever known.
A private celebration of her life is planned on Cocoa beach with her family. Cindy loved the beach and Cocoa was her favorite. Those that wish to express condolences may mail cards or letters to: Drew Brownlee, 308 Croton Dr. Maitland, FL 32751.
