Cheryl Joyce Kelley Chester

Cheryl Joyce Kelley Chester, 77, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 17 at 2PM at Hart's at the Cupola on Peake Road Macon, Georgia.  Private burial to follow with family only.

Daughter of the late Oscar Corput Kelley and Florence Bischoff Henry Kelley; Cheryl was born on March 7, 1946, in Adrian, Georgia.  She moved to Macon, Georgia for the rest of her life.  She retired from Suntrust bank.

Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jaymie Bridges (Bryan) of Macon, and Allison Dekle Johnson (Howard) of Forsyth, Georgia; grandchildren: Nathan Cowart, Kaitlyn Cowart, Madeleine Frank, Noah Bridges, Taylor Mobley, Carter Johnson, and Dalton Johnson; sister, Susan Clay (Tony) of Forsyth, Georgia; and many nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Roland Chester, Jr.
