Carrie Louise Marlow

Carrie Louise Marlow, 94, of Gray, GA, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022.  A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Haddock Baptist Church.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be held at Haddock Baptist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haddock Baptist Church, 180 Ethridge Rd, Haddock, GA 31033.

Daughter of the late Omar Meggs and Lillian Ruth Windham Marlow, Ms. Marlow was a longtime member of Haddock Baptist Church, where she also worked in the church nursery and the kitchen.  She worked at J.P. Stevens in the spinning department and the lab for 46.5 years and was the last one to leave when the company closed.  She also worked at Chandler's Department Store in Milledgeville.  Ms. Marlow was preceded in death by her brother, Bud Marlow, and sister, Frances Dozier.

Ms. Marlow was survived by many nieces and nephews.
