Bond Hale Almand, 50, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the Almand residence.
Bond was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. He graduated from Stratford Academy, class of 1989. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 1993. He then went on to work with Congressman Jay Roy Roland and Sam Nunn from 1993 to 1995 in Washington, D.C., before graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law. Bond then joined his father, Otis Hale Almand, Jr., in his law practice in Macon, Georgia. He began his career as a real estate attorney with McCalla-Raymer Law Firm in Atlanta, Georgia, before starting his own practice in Hiram, Georgia. Professionally, Bond was most recently known for his real estate firm, The Almand Law Firm, based in Macon, Georgia; but he will be remembered mostly as a loving father and a friend to anyone who met him. To know Bond was to love him.
Bond is survived by his two sons; Bond and Fletcher Almand, both of Macon, Georgia; mother, Marjorie Morgan Almand, of Macon, Georgia; sister, Lindsey Almand Chappell (Ferrell), of Lizella, Georgia; brother, Coleman Almand (Brittany), of Macon, Georgia; former wife, Jackie Guy of Macon, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Otis Hale Almand, Jr.
