Betty Jean Manders Singleton, 76, of Macon, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Graveside services will be private at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Seymore Palmer officiating.
Mrs. Singleton was born in Cordele, Georgia to the late Clyde Sylvester and Irene Odessa Allison Manders. She was a retired certified nursing assistant and former member of Macon Trinity Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Singleton, Sr., son, Benjie Singleton, daughter, Bonita Davis, and brother, Clyde Sylvester Manders, Jr.
Mrs. Singleton is survived by her daughter, Belinda Singleton Thornton (Steven) of Jones County; grandchildren, Melisa Thompson (Nick) of Jackson, Georgia, Jamie Stephens (Crystal) of Jesup, Georgia, Susan Willis (Chad) of Macon, Douglas Turner (Stacey) of Macon, David Clance (Brandy) of Macon, and Benjamin Clance (Carly) of Twiggs County; great grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Amelia, Bryce, Ciara, Tatum, Gracie, Ira, Desirae, Eric Jr., Mylee, Leanna, Brooklyn, Bentley, Haven, Hanah, David, Michael, Chandler, Maddox, Jas, and Naomi; brother, John “Mack” Manders (Karen) of Warner Robins, Georgia; and sisters, Peggy Lang (Tommy) of Milledgeville, Georgia and Brenda Hammons of Macon.
