Barnell Smith Barrentine

Barnell Smith Barrentine, 82, of Macon, died Friday, June 4, 2021.  Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Stone Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Kim Washburn officiating.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church.

Daughter of the late Dallie Don and Grace Whitaker Smith, Mrs. Barrentine was a long-time member of Stone Creek Baptist Church.  She worked as a secretary most of her life before retiring.  She was past president and treasurer of Ingleside Manor Social Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Augustus Barrentine; and brother, Don Smith.

Mrs. Barrentine is survived by her sons, Chuck Barrentine (Lynn) of Wetumpka, Alabama, and Terry Barrentine (Denise) of Milledgeville, Georgia; grandson, Rider Cole Barrentine (Haley) of Milledgeville; brother, Glenn Smith (Pamela) of Milledgeville; sister, Betty Peebles of Gray; sisters-in-law, Virginia Tyndall of Macon, and Peggy Smith of Allentown; nieces and nephews, Becky Darley, Jeff Peebles, Sean Smith, Scott Smith, Brett Smith, Monty Smith, and Velda Smith.
