Ansel Lamar Tuten, Jr., 75, of Macon, GA, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Born in Florida in March of 1947 to the late Hilda Claudine Jones, Lamar was a very special man. He grew up in Miami, Florida with his younger brother, Robert Simpson and his sister, Rochelle Simpson. He was a musician for many years, and he loved to race cars. He owned a fencing company in Miami and worked until he retired.
Lamar is survived by his younger brother, Robert Simpson of Macon; sister, Rochelle Simpson Pickrodt of Macon; niece, Victoria Comejo; nephew, Aaron Teachman, his wife, Cecilia, and their children; great nieces, Dorothy Henry and Stephanie Teachman; great nephews, Aaron, Jr. and Anthony Teachman; and great great nephew, Jaydon.
Lamar was more than just a man. He was a son, brother, uncle, and dear friend to many. His one true love was his high school sweetheart, Cheryl. They met as teenagers and kept in contact throughout the years.
Ansel Lamar Tuten, you may be gone but you will not ever be forgotten.
