Annie Ruth Rodeheaver Johnson

Annie Ruth Rodeheaver Johnson, 92, of Macon, GA, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023.  A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Hart’s at the Cupola with the Reverend Mark Magoni officiating.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.  Flowers are appreciated and memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Annie Ruth was the daughter of the late Curtis Delbert and Rosa Lee Kittle Rodeheaver. She loved her family immensely and was a very involved and devoted mother and grandmother. Annie Ruth had a great sense of humor and uplifted everyone around her.

Annie Ruth was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.  She worked as a cashier and produce manager at Piggly Wiggly, retiring after 33 years of service.

Annie Ruth is survived by her children, A. Wayne Johnson (Joy) of Macon, Kathy D. Johnson of Springfield, Oregon, R. Mark Johnson (Ila) of Rhine, Georgia, Karen A. Brown (Greg) of Macon, and Kelly L. Johnson (Suzanne) of Eugene, Oregon; grandchildren, Stephen (Audrey), Shelley (Adam), Jennifer (John), Leslie (Charlie), Kevin (Sarah), Bethany, Olivia (Tyler), Garret (Taylor), Ethan, and Aaron; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Johnson and her siblings, Carl Rodeheaver, Juanita Zoden, Patrick H. Rodeheaver, Byrice Gowens, Charles Rodeheaver, Weyman Rodeheaver, Curtis Rodeheaver, and Donald Joe Rodeheaver.
