Ann Warlick Williams

Ann Warlick Williams, 79, of Macon, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hart’s Cupola Chapel with the Reverend Cynthia Knapp officiating.  A reception will follow the service.  Burial will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fort Valley, Georgia.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Christ Church, 582 Walnut St., Macon, GA 31201.

Daughter of the late Freeman Hart and Sue Billingslea Warlick, Ann graduated from Miller High School and the University of Georgia.  She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and was presented in Albany, Georgia and by the Bon Hommes in Macon, Georgia.  After teaching history, she ran a successful catering business.  Ann was an active member of the Junior League of Macon and helped to write and edit their cookbook, Gracious Goodness.  She was also a member of Christ Church.  Ann loved to spend time in the North Georgia Mountains.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William "Bill" Wright Williams.

Ann is survived by her children, Martha Williams Cunningham (Keith) of Salisbury, North Carolina and Scott Williams (Stephanie) of Sandy Springs, Georgia; grandchildren, Olivia Cunningham, Alex Cunningham, and Wright Williams; brother, Freeman Hart "Pete" Warlick, Jr. (Nancy) of Pine Harbor, Georgia; niece, Susan W. Stingle (Jeff) of Asheville, North Carolina; and cousins, John Lunday (Kathleen) of Naples, Florida and Alex Lunday of Atlanta, Georgia.
