Andy Jackson Ellard, 59, of Macon, Georgia passed away on February 28, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola with the Reverend Chuck Duggan officiating. Visitation will follow in the chapel immediately following the service.
Andy Ellard was born in Macon, Georgia to Fred and Carrie Ellard on January 28, 1961. He was raised in Macon with his older brother George and younger brother Craig. Andy attended and graduated from Central High School and attended Macon Junior College. He worked for Barber Petroleum Equipment Company for over twenty years as one great salesman.
Andy loved to golf, watch reruns of Andy Griffith, and to spend time with his friends. He had two children, Rebecca and Andrew, who he shared his love of music (including the Allman Brothers, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, and many more) and many adventures in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Andy passed doing what he loved, which was golfing. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred Ellard and Carrie Ussery Ellard.
He is survived by his daughter Rebecca (Andrew) Pardal of Atlanta, son Andrew Ellard of Macon, brother George (Laurie) Ellard of Bonaire, brother Craig (Lori) Ellard of Macon, and nieces Brooke Ellard of Homewood, Alabama, and Lauren Ellard of Athens.
