Alva "June" Parsons

Alva “June” Parsons, 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 surrounded by family and is now with her Lord and Savior. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00AM at Northridge Baptist Church, 2360 Gray Highway, Macon, GA 31211 with Pastor John Sheeley officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.

June worked for the Bibb County Board of Education. She loved people and never met a stranger. June especially loved her grandchildren, family gatherings, baking cakes, genealogy, and Hallmark Christmas movies. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Asa and Barbara White; brothers, Jack and Joseph White; and her sister, Joyce White.

June is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 49 years, Paul B. Parsons of Gray, Georgia; two sons: Stefan B. Parsons (Kim) of Gray and Robert A. Parsons (Rachel) of Lizella, Georgia; daughter, Katrina P. Daniels (Will) of Juliette, Georgia; grandchildren, Hannah and Evan Parsons, Marissa Robinson, Madison and Carson Daniels, Lillie, Parks and Pierce Parsons; two sisters, Judy Hulgan and Joan White; and several nieces and nephews.
