Lexi was born on March 25, 2003, in Macon, Georgia. She was a graduate of First Presbyterian Day School. She worked at Gray’s K-9 Academy and was a very talented dog trainer, an avid animal lover, and a lifetime horseback rider who won many awards showing horses. Lexi was very kind, and she had the biggest heart. She was very generous to those in need and would purchase clothing and food for the homeless. Lexi was one to light up a room when she walked in, and was so joyful and loved. More than anything, Lexi enjoyed spending time with her family, and boyfriend, Jackson.
Lexi will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Melanie Benton, of Macon; grandmother, Shelby “Nina” Kasulka (Papa Jim), of Jones County; great grandmother, Jackie Cauley, of Jones County; aunts, Rachel Cauley, of Macon, and Gail Metcalf (John), of Macon; boyfriend, Jackson Dawson, of Macon; cousins: Caley Caddell, of Eatonton, Rayner Caddell, of Palm Bay, Florida, Michael Ramirez, of Kennesaw, Georgia; siblings, Mikayla and Colton Benton, of Warner Robins; Kristy Bridges (Shane); many cousins; and extended family, Caleb Livingston, and Lisa and Jesse Suggs.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, “Papa” Mike Cauley, of Jones County; and great-grandparents, Harry and Mary Cone, of Macon.
