Wynelle Brice Flynn

Macon- Wynelle Brice Flynn, 86, of 2841 Northwoods Drive, South, died Monday, February 14, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 11:00AM at Riverside Cemetery (North Gate) with the Reverend Tommy Martin officiating. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Wednesday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204 or to Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, Post Office Box 149, Macon, Georgia 31202. Mrs. Flynn was a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church where she was a former member of the Administrative Board and a member of Pacesetters, Young at Heart Senior Group and the Joy Sunday School Class. She was a volunteer at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth for more than twenty years and was a member of the Methodist Children's Home Auxiliary. Mrs. Flynn was retired civil service from Robins Air Force Base. Mrs. Flynn is survived by her children, Patricia Flynn Schlau (Greg) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, James Arthur Flynn (Vickie) of Macon, Julie Flynn and Koneta Hirst of Macon; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
