Wyman Brooks "Mitch" Mitchell

Wyman Brooks “Mitch” Mitchell, 78, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Hart’s at the Cupola.

Mitch was born on May 27, 1947, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Alan Jewell and Dorothy Brooks Mitchell. He was a longtime car salesman in middle Georgia. He loved NASCAR, hotrods, and just working on his cars. Mitch loved fast cars and fast motorcycles. He was always looking for an adrenaline rush. He loved old movies and good food. He enjoyed singing while playing his guitar.

Mitch is survived by his fiancée, Susan Perry; daughter, Carla Denise Eure (Kevin); son, Michael Kevin Mitchell; grandchildren, Casey Hancock, Corey Hancock, Chelsea Morgan Paden (Jake), Jesse Hancock, and Anna Hancock; great-grandchildren, Austen Dorough, Becca Durough, Baylie Paden, and Alaina Mitchell Cordero; and his brother, William Mitchell. He is preceded in death by his parents.
