William "Sid" Vereen

Sid Vereen, of Macon, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in the comfort of his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 4:00PM, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. The Reverend Kyle Sawyer will officiate. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Survivors: Father, Wes Vereen; Mother, Pearl Vereen; Sister, Debbie Mason; Niece, Janna Mason and great nephew, Mason Amerson, all of Macon. Sid was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claudius and Lulu J. Cox and Wesley and Belva Vereen. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Cody Mason, and his significant other, David Stover.
