William Olin Sims, Jr., of Macon, Georgia, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 3:00PM at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 1:30PM until 2:30PM at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia. Mr. Sims was a great dad and a loving grandfather. He was a hard worker. Mr. Sims was predeceased by a sister, Eddy Mae Sims. He worked as a block foreman at Mathis-Akins. Mr. Sims is survived by his son, Robert Olin Sims (June), and his daughter, Brenda Lee Sims White (Charles); brother, Lee Olin Sims; sister, Eva June Davis; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
