William Randolph (Randy) Rogers

William Randolph Rogers (Randy) 52, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at his home after battling cancer with his family and friends at his side. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Swift Creek Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Steve Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Born in Bibb County, Randy was employed by Rheem Air Conditioning for 20 years and Rogers Bridge Construction Company. He attended Northeast High School. He was the son of the late William L. Rogers. He is survived by his mother, Christine Upshaw Rogers; Daughters, Danielle(Gene) Jackson, Tanya (Jessie) Jackson; Sisters, Cathy (Willie) Goad, Lynn (Frank) Whitehead; Brother, Chad Rogers. Three grandchildren and nieces and nephews, and special brother-in-law, Dorsey Cleghorn. Family may be contacted at the residence. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory, Cherry Street has charge of arrangements.
