William "Bill" Pinckney Simmons Iii

William Pinckney Simmons, III, "Bill" 47, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 in Memphis, Tennessee. Bill was born on July 18, 1968 in Macon, Georgia. He attended Stratford Academy and graduated from Evangelical Christian School and received his Bachelor of Arts from Millsaps College in 1991. Bill was employed at FedEx. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Bill and Bertha Simmons, his sister, Elsie Grace Simmons; his three step-brothers, Lawson, Stuart and Carter Brown; and his stepfather George Thomas Love, III. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Hart Love. A private family memorial service will be held at St. Francis Episcopal Church, on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 2:00PM. Visitation will follow in the parish hall from 2:30PM-4:30PM. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Episcopal Church, 432 Forest Hill Road, Macon, GA 31210 or the donor's favorite charity.
