William O. "Bill" Hill: 90, of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Ave. Macon, Georgia. Dr. Laudis H."Rick" Lanford will officiate. Born in Macon, he was the son of the late Owen Hill and Mary Ivy Brown Pepper. He was a retired Master Sargent from the U.S. Army with 20 years of service and a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He served as the Georgia State Vice Chairman of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and enjoyed putting on progams about his experience. Mr. Hill also enjoyed spending time and supporting the ministry of the Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Macon. He is survived by his sister, Helen P. Jones of North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Myrna (Don) Rutledge of Gray, Georgia, Andy(Nancy) Jones, Sharon(Jerry) Dimco, Barbara(Danny) Mitchell, James (Renee) Jones, all of North Carolina and Jimmy(Donna) Hill of Haddock, Ga. Companion, Jenny Hineline of Macon, Ga. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth Foundation, 304 Pierce Ave. Macon, Georgia 31204.
