William "Bill" Mckinley Tyler, Jr.

William “Bill” McKinley Tyler, Jr., age 79, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. A memorial and graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends following the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Bill’s honor to the Middle Georgia Radio Association, P.O. Box 10528, Warner Robins GA 31095.

Bill was born on March 28, 1943, to the late William McKinley Tyler, Sr. and Wilma Young Tyler. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Radio Communication Specialist, and his most recent employment was with the Georgia Forestry Commission as a Security Specialist. Bill was a member and trustee with Middle GA Radio Association and was a licensed Ham Radio Operator.

Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Tyler Tinker

Survivors include his niece, Erin (Eric) Helton of Concord, GA; nephew, Bradford McKinley Tinker of Jackson, GA; great nephews, Elijah Lee Helton, Joshua McKinley Tinker and Caleb Emerson Tinker; and great niece, Elizabeth Grace Helton.
