William W.L. Maddox

Macon-William L. "W.L." Maddox, 92, died on Thursday, January 5, 2012. Family will greet friends between 2-3:30PM on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Mr. Maddox was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II in the European theatre. He retired from Southern Bell. Mr. Maddox is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy S. Maddox of Macon; son, Bill Maddox (Charlotte) of Mexico Beach, Florida; daughter, Cathy Mullins (John) of Atlanta; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
