William Benjamin Hudson, Jr., 72, died Sunday, September 30, 2012. Mr. Hudson was born in Rome, Georgia to the late Marion William Hudson, Jr. and the late Louise Dixon Hudson and was also predeceased by two step-mothers, Bettye C. Hudson and Mildred H. Hudson. He attended Darlington's Berry High School and attended Young Harris College. Growing up, he was a member of Second Avenue Baptist Church and Maple Street Baptist Church and later at a Lutheran church in Atlanta. Mr. Hudson was a groundskeeper at Emory University Hospital for many years. He loved playing the piano, was a sculptor and liked to draw and paint. He loved beautiful things. Survivors include his sisters, Kathy Hudson Baker of Macon, and Bettye Ann McRae of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister-in-law, Pamela Hudson of Macon; nieces and nephews, Rebekah Baker of Macon, Stephen Baker of Macon, Carly Callahan of Alabama, and Jason Hudson of Pennsylvania.
