William Eason Henson

William Eason Henson, 81, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date this Fall.

William was born on April 4, 1944, in Albany, Georgia, to the late Carl Fred Henson and Rosa Lee Hysler Henson. He was a proud graduate of Auburn University.

In 1983, William moved to Macon, Georgia, a place he soon called home and where he would spend the remainder of his fulfilling years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and fishing.  An avid football fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on his Auburn Tigers.

William is survived by his loving wife, Jane Hoge Henson of Macon; children, William Cole Henson of Hagerman, Idaho and Taylor Carlisle Henson (Rebecca) of Bozeman, Montana; grandchildren: Hayden Parker Henson and Wiley Dean Henson, both of Bozeman, Montana; and siblings: Carleene Zimmerman (John) of Jarratt, Virginia, Jim Henson (Mary Jean) of Cordele, Georgia, and Sue Henson of Albany, Georgia.
